This photoshoot was almost too cute to handle!

The Dameron family are very close friends, and little Elliana Rose has grown so big! Last time I saw this family, I was taking Elliana's newborn photos, and now we are taking her six month photos. Time has flown by far too fast!

Bethany and Derek (Mom and Dad) picked Smith Perry Berry Farms as the perfect locations for this family shoot, and brought sweet Kate (Auntie Kate, and another dear friend) to be a helping hand throughout the shoot. When we arrived on location, I could not wait to start taking photos. The pumpkin fields were set beautifully in front of a mountain covered in trees changing colors, and the pumpkins in the field were massive! Honestly we got into the field to take photos, and we all pointed out giant pumpkins we wanted to take home (which honestly I think we chose the largest pumpkins in the field in each color). There were bright orange pumpkins, white, green, cinderella pumpkins, and pale orange pumpkins as far as the eye could see.

We had such fun and laughs as we would move pumpkins around to build a scene, and notice someone going to steal one of "our pumpkins", cheering when they walked away without picking our pumpkins. We even took some of our "claimed" pumpkins to set up some cute seats for Elliana. As always Elliana was so sweet and it was such fun to catch up on life with friends since we hadn't seen each other face to face for six months.

This photoshoot was filled with such fun and laughter, especially as Elliana was such a natural model. Most of the time I never even posed Elliana, just letting things naturally flow and capturing the little joys of the day. But not only were we taking pictures of Elliana, but the parents as well. Having a child changes the entire family in such amazing ways, but I think it is also important to take a little time for parents to have some time for their own photos. So we had Auntie Kate watch Elliana, and Bethany and Derek had their own little photoshoot. It was so sweet to have the parents just enjoying themselves and having fun, though we did have one little spill. Bethany and Derek were lining up for a pose Bethany had seen on Pinterest where she spins around in his arms. She was all lined up and ready to go, but apparently Derek was not quite ready. Bethany threw herself into the spin, and down they both went in between the rows of pumpkin. Instantly we were all cracking up, and I'm sure it is a moment we won't forget for a long while.

As what often happens with little ones, Elliana got a little fussy at times. Our go to way to get her calm and happy was to sing her songs, and as soon as I figured out the song Mom and Auntie were singing I would join in. One such moment got a bunch of laughs as Elliana was laying on her back in a wagon for me to stand over and take a photo, and she started to get a little fussy. Next thing I know Kate is leaning over by back and shoulder to start singing "My Favorite Things" for The Sound of Music. I jumped in singing and we got some of the cutest smiles of the entire shoot. When we stood back up I turned around to see Bethany holding up her phone and snickering. She had recorded us since we were apparently quite a sight. ;P But hey, I'll do anything to keep my little clients happy. Speaking of, it was getting later and Elliana was just about done getting her photo taken

The evening came to a close as night was beginning to fall, so we all left the farm for dinner before heading our separate ways.

Honestly I love this family as they are so dear to me, and it is so special to be capturing the big moments in Elliana's life. I can't believe it has been six months already, time sure does fly when you are having fun.

Until next time,

Stay safe, much love
