Who am I?

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I thought I would just take a second and introduce myself, and what I am all about.

My name is Laura Mantooth, and I created Laura Mantooth Photography in an effort to provide people with a chance to capture joy in their lives at an affordable price. I work as a full time special education teacher, which means that for me, photography is not about the money. Photography is all about the joy of life, and capturing that joy in a snapshot for people to treasure for years to come.
I have been honing my skills as a professional photographer for years, and started off with goofing off with my friends. Since then I transitioned to photographing Tim Tebow's Night to Shine, and studying under other professional photographers at weddings until I was ready to step out on my own as my own business, Laura Mantooth Photography.
My style is full of color and my attitude is goofy and fun. I know I can be a dork, and so I use it to my advantage to help my clients relax and enjoy themselves. Some of my favorite times are when I show clients the photos and see their amazement at how confident they look, and the laughter that results from a frozen sneeze.

In the end, my goal of every meeting is to have my clients know I will capture their dreams, and be there for what they need on their special day. To me, the precious memories made and captured in a photoshoot are worth more than all the money in the world.
I hope this helped you better understand who I am as a photographer, and I can't wait to work with you!
